[CLOSED] CHRISTMAS WITH REINDEERS!

We're trippin' with more trips!  Our friends from Beyond Expeditions SG have put together this awesome trip to the most northern province of Mongolia from Dec 1-11, and we're stoked to be a supporting partner for this expedition.   Explore the vast mystical lands of Khövsgöl Aimag for 10 days, to visit its indigenous nomadic tribes. Home to the slowly disappearing ethnic group of nomadic reindeer herders known as the Tsaatan people, the grounds houses one of the most secluded community in the world (which comprises of less than 40 families). The Tsaatan people have inhabited the remotest subarctic taiga for thousands of years, moving 5-10 times a year. They rely on the reindeer for most, if not all, of their basic needs: milk, which is also used to make cheese; antlers, which they use to make tools; and first and foremost, transport. They do not use the reindeer for meat. This makes them distinctly unique among reindeer-herding...

Goodbye Pandan Gardens, Hello Downtown Gallery, Shenton Way!

We’ve had a great run at Pandan Gardens and would like to thank everyone who’s made our cozy little shop something that we look forward to returning to everyday. We started Terrainware with a simple desire to see more Singaporeans like myself experience the outdoors after noticing many young parents (like ourselves) with their kids glued to devices – by providing a retail experience that caters anyone that wants to go on an adventure – whether you’re an urbanite who’s going on his first trek or an experienced outdoorsman, we have something for you. A great opportunity came by late last year to move to a bigger, more central location and we decided to take it on! This gives us the chance to spread our message to a wider audience and with more foot traffic to support the business. Unfortunately, being a small company we don’t have the resources to maintain...
